The Mind-Body-Spirit Connection: How to intentionally change your life for the better.
Concord, MA
Due to the Covid-19 Delta Variant, this workshop will be offered on Zoom beginning in October 2021 if there is sufficient interest. The group is held once a week for one and one half hours, day, time and start date to be determined.
Much has been written about the mind-body-spirit connection, but what does this connection mean and how is it relevant to people’s lives – to addressing the emotional, physical and spiritual struggles that people confront every day?
Research shows that brain cells continue to grow throughout a person’s life, that the brain is ‘plastic’ – that is, malleable and able to shift and change. We are able to become the new information that we take in – in addition to who we already are. We have the capacity to choose with our conscious mind how we want to live and who we want to be moving forward. This is very hopeful and exciting!
Group members will receive new information each week related to the mind-body-spirit connection taken from current research on the subject. Group members will then have the opportunity to share and discuss themes that emerge for them related to the topic.

Women at Sixty: An exploration of the transition from middle adulthood to the joy of wisdom.
Concord, MA
Due to the Covid-19 Delta Variant, a Zoom group will be offered beginning in October 2021 if there is sufficient interest. The group is conducted weekly for one and one half hours, start date, day and time to be determined.
This is a ten-week therapy group for women in their sixty’s and older to co-create a safe and sacred place in which to share and reflect upon one’s season in the life spectrum. We will learn about the work of Erik Erikson with a focus on Erikson’s virtues of Caring and Wisdom. The writings of other teachers will be explored as well.

Currently, individual therapy is being conducted by telephone and online. Groups are also held online. In-person therapy and group therapy will resume in person once the COVID-19 virus is resolved.
Appointments in Concord and Cambridge are available. Blue Cross. Blue Shield and Optum are accepted. A sliding fee scale is offered, when needed, for those with other coverage.
